Superior Wetland Bank Delineation

Challenge

Creating an opportunity to restore 22,000 acres of wetlands in northern Minnesota, which includes the world-renowned bird-watching area, Sax-Zim Bog.

Solution

A regional partnership, including SEH wetland specialists, worked together to create and define a wetland mitigation bank that could be used to help private businesses offset wetland impacts created by new development.
