Pueblo Memorial Airport Runway Expansion

Challenge

The U.S. Air Force’s Initial Flight Training (IFT) Program needed its own space to continue safely operating out of the Pueblo Memorial Airport.

Solution

The SEH team designed a 4,600-foot runway that was added to the regional airport with additional taxiways and connections. The runway will accommodate 160,000 annual training operations for U.S. Air Force pilots-in-training.
