The SEH Board of Directors named 11 new Associates—Dan Botich, Susan Danzl, Dan Hinzmann, Scott Jardine, Graham Johnson, Al Murra, Jeff Nussbaum, Mike Perez, Lindsey Roberts McKenzie, April Ryan and Jodi Winberg.
The Associates were selected based on their continuous commitment to SEH’s success and their sustained and successful job performance. Becoming an Associate is often considered a stepping stone to serving as a Company Class B Stockholder. They are successful leaders, risk takers and are trusted and respected by clients and well-regarded by their peers. Meet our new Associates:
Dan Botich is a senior economic development professional who joined SEH in our Munster, Ind. office in 2016. He has 31 years of economic development and creative financial incentive experience in land use planning, public administration, economic development and municipal finance. Dan leads our economic development team by providing services including site selection, incentive team building and negotiation, design/build services, and industrial and commercial development planning to both municipal and private clients. Since 2012, he has also been an adjunct professor for Calumet College of St. Joseph in Whiting, Ind. teaching undergraduate micro and macro-economics and public administration/budgeting and finance management in the Public Safety Administration and Masters of Management Science programs.
Susan Danzl is a professional wastewater engineer who joined SEH in 2010 and has extensive experience in the planning and design of wastewater treatment facilities. She has served as a project engineer and project manager on a diverse group of projects including planning, evaluation, and the design and construction of wastewater facilities. Her experience with wastewater treatment includes a special focus on anaerobic digestion, waste-to-energy and biosolids handling. Susan serves clients from the Minnetonka, Minn. office and is a member of the Water Environment Federation, Central States Water Environment Association and the Minnesota Wastewater Operators Association. Dan Hinzmann joined the SEH Lakewood, Colo. office in 2008 and relocated to the Duluth, Minn. office in 2010. He is a project manager and design engineer with far-reaching civil engineering experience in a variety of civil, water and transportation projects. Dan has been an integral part of many projects in the greater Duluth area including work at the BlueStone development, City of Cloquet Parks system, City of Superior flood control projects, St. Luke's campus improvements, and a host of other private and public projects. Scott Jardine is a senior professional engineer with extensive experience serving private, municipal and Federal clients in civil engineering design, construction inspection, construction management and administration. He joined the Denver, Colo. office in 2013 as a senior project manager and has 24 years of project experience with land development master planning, site development, water supply and distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection systems, storm drainage and detention systems and street and roadway projects. Graham Johnson is a senior professional transportation engineer with a focus on transportation planning, safety analysis, benefit-cost analysis, preliminary design and traffic operations analysis. He joined SEH in the Minnetonka, Minn. office in 2002 and has developed specialized expertise over this period conducting complex traffic operations modeling, highway traffic noise modeling and the analysis of "big data." His work also includes modeling freeways, interchanges and alternative intersection designs. Graham routinely assists municipal, county and state agencies through the analysis and development of technical solutions for a variety of transportation challenges. Al Murra is a professional engineer and senior project manager in our Sioux Falls, SD office. He has led, managed and/or designed a wide variety of engineering projects over the course of his career. His experience includes street reconstruction, public and private utilities, grading, drainage, transportation, bridge replacement and environmental services for a variety of private, municipal, county and state agencies. Al’s responsibilities on these projects includes project management, project planning, roadway design, water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer design, public engagement and construction administration. He joined SEH in 2000 and currently serves as the office manager and leads the civil group in Sioux Falls. Jeff Nussbaum joined SEH in 2016 in our Chippewa Falls, Wisc. office. As a professional engineer, he has 23 years of experience completing feasibility studies, planning, design, construction and project management for a multitude of public works infrastructure projects including water, wastewater, transportation and private development projects. Mike Perez is a senior professional engineer who joined SEH in the Denver, Colo. office in 2013 and works within the transportation industry and throughout the Colorado market. He has developed final roadway plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E). Lindsey Roberts McKenzie joined SEH in January 2006 and is a senior water resources engineer, project manager and federal procurement lead in our St. Paul, Minn. office. She is experienced in designing and managing large scale civil engineering projects, including flood risk reduction systems, environmental restoration projects, inflow and infiltration mitigation projects and regional water quality studies. She is a member of the Society of Women Engineers where she has served in multiple leadership roles at the local and society level, as well as a member of the Society of American Military Engineers – Minneapolis St. Paul Post, serving on its Executive Board for the past three years. April Ryan joined SEH in 2004 as a graduate engineer and has been a professional engineer with SEH for the past 15 years. April has experience assisting clients on a range of municipal and water resources projects. She is located in our St. Cloud, Minn. office and serves clients within central Minnesota, primarily working with the cities of Sartell and St. Cloud. April is a board member for the Minnesota Erosion Control Association and a co-director for a BIO Girls program in Sartell, Minnesota. Professional Engineer in MN
Jodi Winberg joined SEH in 2012 and is the director of sales operations companywide and is located in our Minnetonka, Minn. office. She leads 16 professionals consisting of proposal writers, proposal coordinators and graphic/digital designers. She leads a team who helps Company client service and project managers position SEH to win work by producing client-focused proposals and interviews. Jodi provides leadership through staff development, engagement and competitive pursuit strategies to deliver quality products and client service.
