Kevin Accola currently serves as SEH’s safety director, where he leverages his extensive experience related to developing written safety programs, policies and procedures. He is a Certified Safety Professional with experience completing hazard identification and assessment activities, and he regularly conducts audits and inspections to assess compliance with regulatory and company standards. Kevin coordinates all safety training at SEH and maintains required records for Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Mine Safety and Health Administration compliance. KC Atkins is a professional engineer and project manager with a broad range of experience in multimodal engineering, planning and design. Her design experience has provided opportunities to discuss and analyze various design solution trade-offs and develop street, bikeway, trail and pedestrian designs from the early planning and concept level stages through final design and construction documents. Dave Blommel is a professional engineer and project manager with experience in civil engineering projects. He brings experience in municipal street and utility improvements, stormwater management, planning and modeling, and civil site design. Dave's responsibilities include project management, oversight of preparation plan and specification documents, feasibility reports, cost estimates, hydrology reports and construction administration.
Nick Brula is a senior professional engineer with extensive experience in the mechanical and construction engineering field. He has experience in every phase of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) project development, including initial cost estimation, facility analysis, system design and construction administration. Nick has helped design and oversee the construction of several industrial HVAC projects, including chiller replacements, boiler upgrade and replacements, constant volume and variable air volume systems, variable refrigerant flow systems, water and wastewater treatment facilities and plumbing upgrades. Nate Day is a certified planner specializing in public engagement, urban design, land use planning, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) environmental documents, and transportation and environmental planning. In addition, Nate brings a high level of experience leveraging funding sources to assist communities with obtaining financial assistance for projects. Nate has been with SEH for over 10 years and has experience with the public involvement process and often witnesses the positive results that well-organized community participation can bring to a project. Brea Grace is an experienced urban planner and community economic development specialist working in the public and private sectors. Her work has involved issues surrounding land use, economic development, the environment and transportation, and engaging the public in decisions about their communities. She is a creative thinker passionate about urban and waterfront redevelopment and community revitalization, creating unique urban places. Ross Harris is a senior planner and project manager with 32 years of transportation planning experience. Over the course of his career, he has prepared numerous corridor studies, community transportation plans and NEPA documentation analyses for clients throughout the Upper Midwest. Emily Honerbrink is a visual experience manager, leads a team of graphic and digital designers and serves on SEH’s Women in STEM employee resource group’s leadership team. As a multimedia storyteller and designer, she takes complex scenarios and breaks them down into digestible components through digital and traditional elements. Emily has been with SEH for six years and is best known for creative concepting, interviewing and creating video testimonials, complex data visualization and design strategy. Alex Jauch is an architect and has been with SEH for eight years. He is well-versed in various project types, including transportation design, mixed-use development, hospitality, commercial interiors, and historic architecture. Alex also has experience in space programming and conceptual design, final design and construction documentation, cost estimating, facility assessments and construction administration, with project management experience in various large and small-scale projects. Chad Jorgenson is a senior professional traffic engineer and certified professional traffic operations engineer (PTOE). He specializes in traffic operations, traffic safety, intersection control evaluations (ICE), maintenance of traffic and traffic control plan development. Recently, he has specialized in arterial corridor operations and signals timing projects throughout the state of Minnesota. Chad is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and the North Central Section of ITE (NCITE) where he serves as a student outreach coordinator. Jeff Ledin is a senior professional engineer and project manager with extensive experience, especially in public water systems engineering. He has been with SEH for nearly 20 years and brings a strong technical background, including many years in highway/heavy construction supervision experience. Jeff has worked on all phases of municipal engineering projects throughout Minnesota. Bill Lueck is a senior professional engineer with water and wastewater engineering experience, specializing in hydraulic conveyance projects for large sanitary sewer and storm sewer systems. His expertise focuses on hydraulics, conveyance and pumping systems for stormwater and sanitary sewer projects for cities and regional agencies. Mike Lyons is a senior professional engineer and project manager and supervises a staff of four within the highway design team. With SEH for five years, he has over two decades of experience in the transportation industry serving primarily as a project manager and/or lead designer on conceptual, preliminary and final roadway design projects for state departments of transportation, counties and municipalities. His experience also includes managing transportation teams on several roadway and interchange design projects. Colin Marcusen is a senior professional engineer and project manager with extensive experience in civil and wastewater engineering. He has experience in planning, design, bidding and construction administration of stabilization pond and mechanical wastewater treatment facilities and infrastructure and transportation projects. Colin’s responsibilities include project management to prepare plan and specification documents, feasibility reports, and cost estimating and construction administration. Peggy Mathies has been with SEH for more than 25 years and serves as the executive assistant to CEO David Ott, our Leadership Team and the Board of Directors. For the past seven years, she has served as the SEH Design|Build Board of Director's board secretary. She supports executive leadership in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, annual business cycle cadence, and business continuity. Peggy leads the St. Paul administrative team and provides mentorship and process support to administrative staff companywide. Erica Olsen is a senior professional engineer and project manager and has worked with various private, municipal and federal clients. In recent years, she has had the opportunity to focus on projects involving multimodal design, including safe routes to school, urban corridors, main streets, and trails. Melissa Underwood is a senior airport planner and project manager responsible for helping clients with airport master plans, narrative reports, airport layout plans, NEPA requirements, airport zoning and aviation forecasts. She has been with SEH for over 11 years and has extensive public involvement experience. Melissa has her private pilot license and can assist with airport management and operations questions.
